Dr. Koby Sarubin
Dr. Koby Sarubin graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He then completed a hospital-based general practice residency at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, where he received advanced training in oral and periodontal surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and restorative dentistry.

Dr. Sean O’Connor
Dr. Sean joined the Smile Rotunda team in May 2023. Originally from the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania, he is a 2014 graduate of Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia.

Dr. James Tabet
Dr. James Tabet is a dedicated general dentist committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. Born and raised in Maryland, he built his scientific foundation at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received the Henry B. Robinson Award in Restorative Dentistry and the 2026 AGD Future Leader in General Dentistry Award.

Karen
Dental Hygienist
Karen has been a dental hygienist for 37 years. She graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and taught dental students and worked in the resident program for 10 years. Her two kids, Austin and Samantha, live in Charleston, South Carolina. When she is not working she loves spending time with her dog Beau, traveling, and walking.
Shanoy
Dental Hygienist
With over ten years of experience in dental hygiene, Shanoy is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She earned her degree in 2012 and is certified in Maryland to administer anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Beyond the clinic she volunteers with the Red Cross, travels, tries new restaurants, stays active, and loves to bake treats for her coworkers.
